Along with reducing air pollution electric cars also contributes greatly to reducing noise pollution. The engines in a regular diesel or petrol car are usually very loud and produce a lot of unnecessary noises causing noise pollution. Electric car engines, on the other hand, are run by electricity, therefore, there are smoother and much quieter compared to regular cars.
Safety
These cars are also useful for safety purposes. Where there is a constant danger of regular cars getting into an accident due to fuel leakage or some kind of horrible mishappening on petrol pumps, electric cars save you from the trouble as well.
